No probs here playing from Friday eve to Sunday, 30+ hours of play with the console staying on for the entire 55+ hours..
But I thought it was a heat buildup with lower voltage countries.. There is a formula somewhere on the net..

It was/is a pretty ambitious development.
But halo3 with forge, recorded game play and bubble shields etc., it still deserves it's trophy.
Not everyone is done playing with Halo3..
@DarkWitness, agreed, I think Halo1 had a great feel to it, but I think the online play on Halo3 is awesome.
However, the month before the split was probably 80% in favour of digital. I think the DVD media is definitely heading out..
I also found that I was prepared to watch lower quality (approx 600mb) downloads for the convenience factor.
It's a robotic vacuum cleaner.

might be that you think that it's a disadvantage for the install being required on the ps3..
the rather slow BluRay player. For the first time, I'm glad not all 360's have a hard-drive making sure that installess games are a reality on the 360.
get yourself a 360 or a PC

I suggest a 'proper' console.. Try a PS3 or a Xbox 360..

The game is turning out to be a bore.. Only DLC now has the opportunity to save the game.
the HD is needed to make the game playable.
